Alexander McQueen SS10 "Plato's Atlantis"

Probably the best show this season. The presentation was amazing. McQueen collaborated with Nick Knight who produced a video for the show and also live-streamed the actual show on SHOWstudio.com. I didn't get to watch it because it was just forgot about it, and I've read that the site crashed anyways because Lady Gaga announced ("twittered") that her new single was going to premiere during the show. You definitely have to watch the video to really appreciate the clothes. In photos most of the clothes just look too similar to his previous spring collection; especially the koleidoscope digitally printed dresses. There were some new ideas but when I think McQueen, I think something totally new each season. What was most interesting was how it flowed. It started with earth tone clothes (as if to symbolize land) then transitioned into metallics and blues (to symbolize water). The models overall look changed as well as if they were evolving into underwater creatures with sci-fi prosthetics on their face. The most exciting part was the robotic like movie cameras that seemed to have a mind of their own.
Update: "His collection told the story of women morphing into creatures of the deep as the seas slowly reclaimed planet earth". -Hilary Alexander, For a better review: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/fashion/paris-fashion-week/6267046/Paris-Fashion-Week-Alexander-McQueen.html
